The coping band around the pool edge got its own treatment too, giving it a clean, defined look that frames the whole area.

The color choice matters more than most people think. A light, neutral gray tone like this one keeps the surface cooler underfoot compared to darker finishes - something worth considering when the sun is hammering down all day. It also makes the whole backyard feel cleaner and more open without being stark or washed out.
