Carlton Woods needed a path that could actually hold up. The old cart path wasn't cutting it anymore - daily traffic, heavy carts, constant use. That kind of wear adds up fast, and a thin or aging path just isn't going to last. So we came in and replaced it with something built to handle the long haul.
We poured a new extended concrete path at 6 inches thick. That's not a standard pour - that's a deliberate choice to handle repeated heavy loads without cracking, shifting, or breaking down over time. When you're dealing with golf cart traffic day in and day out, the thickness of the slab matters more than most people realize.
The path follows a smooth, sweeping curve through the course grounds. Getting that curve right takes careful formwork and a solid crew that knows what they're doing. Our team worked the full length of the path - screeding, finishing, and edging the concrete to a clean, uniform surface from one end to the other. No shortcuts on a job like this.
This is exactly the kind of work where durability and appearance go hand in hand. A well-built concrete walkway or path doesn't just function better - it looks sharp and holds its look for years. That's true whether we're talking about a golf course, a community, or a private property.
Good concrete work is one of those things you don't think about when it's done right. You only notice it when it's done wrong. We build paths, sidewalks, and walkways that you just don't have to worry about.
